What to do next

How it works

We compare your baby’s height and weight with a typical baby of the same age, then assume they stay in about the same place as they grow. That gives an estimated height and weight for the month you pick, which we match against each brand’s size chart. When height and weight point to different sizes, we suggest the bigger one.

The reference curve is based on the WHO Child Growth Standards (approximate medians, averaged for girls and boys). It’s a shopping estimate — babies grow at their own pace.

Frequently asked questions

Why do brands differ?

Every brand cuts differently. Some run small, some large — that’s why we check each brand’s own chart.

Is this a growth check?

No. It only estimates clothing sizes. Talk to your healthcare provider about your baby’s growth.
